Final Major Project, MakeUp&Hair: Jihye Sim

BA (Hons) Fashion: Hair and Make Up

"I have a passion for fashion, and I love to explore a concept as far as I can. Pushing it towards the limit. I am never afraid of entering unknown waters and I never stay on the shallow end of the pool. Just as good as I am on pushing the concept to the limit, I also have an extra ordinary ability to restrain myself a keep things classic." JIHYE SIM WWW.JIHYESIM.COM jihyesimlondon@gmail.com

BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Realisation

. I am currently studying BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and Realization on part time basis, what allows me to be flexible and carry on my working life. I have learnt garment construction method long time before I decided to get professional qualifications. Being interested in Fashion since a teenager I have gained experience in dressmaking through the years of experimental pattern cutting and my own mistakes. I design and make garments with high attention to detail, taking care of the finishing processes. I consider myself as an open-minded person, who likes new challenges and opportunities; creative, hardworking and adaptable. Able to work on collection from the initial development stage to production.

BA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery

Tiffany C. Ng London based fashion jewellery designer born in Hong Kong, expecting to graduate in July 2014. Zentech Advanced technology has blurred the boundary between work life and private life. We need to learn how to keep us sane and live balanced in a highly virtual world created by today’s communication technology. Zen advocates regular meditation and using daily happenings around us as a source of inspiration and awakening to find the path of enlightenment to achieve a balanced life. Attaining balance through Zen is the concept of my collection. Wearers can easily disassemble and reassemble the basic components of some of the jewellery pieces in different ways to show different states of balance in their life. BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design and Development

London College of Fashion BA (Hons) Footwear Design graduate student seeking a position within the footwear industries. Eager to apply the skills that have been acquired through college and internship experience in a professional studio environment. Excited to become part of a team and to work according to the companies ethos and values. Final collection: LAS DOS FRIDAS inspired by the mexican day of the dead, the mexican artist Frida Kahlo & her life and modern architecture (black and white). Structure, simplicity and clear lines are paired with distinct details (embroidery, laser cut, brass and wooden details) to give it character but keeping it subtle and elegant at the same time to not overwhelm but support the look or style of different types of women. the collection is divided into one part black and one part white shoes. this mirrors both the tragical (dark, tough) side and the magical (colourful, sensible) side of the life of Frida Kahlo. HAND MADE both shoes of this final year collection are hand made. the black chelsea boot is not only hand made but hand welted in a traditional way after gaining that skill through an internship in Venice, Italy. Tradition and values are an important source of inspiration to Sabrina B as well as architecture and different cultures. credits: Models - Mavarey & Daisy Headbands - Sophie McElligott contact: sabrina.buechele@gmail.com
