‘Work like a slave, command like a king, create like a God’. These words, which I heard during my very first fashion lecture, perfectly describe my attitude to the fashion world. Fashion design is my life passion, which I have always been committed to and prepared to work hard on developing. Already during my first degree at London College of Fashion, I tried to be a part of the fashion industry by undertaking a number of internships: at Richard Nicoll, James Long, Maciej Zien and Guess by Marciano. That work experience not only enriched me with practical skills of sawing, designing and pattern cutting, but also gave me an opportunity to understand the process of production. My true dream, that I am aiming to achieve, is to be noticeably unique and stand out from the crowd. Because I never give up and work hard, I think that it is possible to overcome any upcoming obstacles on a pathway of a young fashion designer such as myself. Moreover, I am additionally motivated to learn about the fashion, since this type of visual art inspires me in everyday life and can provide with a special emotional insight. As Levinson notes, “art gives viewers experiential knowledge [...] and it does this by broadening experience to encompass things they might never otherwise have undergone or felt.” WORK EXPERIENCE Present Fashion intern at Richard Nicoll Present Stylish at 69 Polish Tv (Poland) August – September Fashion intern at Maciej Zień atelier (Polish designer) August Fashion intern at James Long 03rd June 2012 VolunteerAsian Fashion Show (London) June – December 2011 Main designer for Bodu Bacio – fashion brand in Poland August 2011 Assistant to the Senior designer at Guess by Maricano websites: https://www.facebook.com/MaGdalenaDudarskArt

SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

BA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery

Industrious, creative Fashion Jewellery student with eagerness to further develop my design skills. Throughout the education to date History of art has played major part of my development, and has been a great source of inspiration. Studying Illustration and drawing aside from my current Jewellery studies have all been a big part in my design awareness and made my skills more versatile. I enjoy working with different materials such as wood, metal and plastic, influenced by the simplistic scandinavian style.

Textile Development

BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles

The idea of ‘dress that connects’ is explored through the creation of fashioned-objects that grow with the wearer over time. Drawing inspiration from Western charm jewelry and its variants found as a part of the traditional dress of many cultures worldwide, these pieces are built gradually over time through a series of interactive exchanges on a foundation provided by the designer. The wearer and the designer will co-create as the designer depends on the wearer for new forms to be realized. Through ‘assemblage’ meaning the action of gathering and randomly fitting things together, the wearer is able build re-arrange and style themselves in a way that reflects their true identity just, ‘like a piece of charm jewelry.’ In a world full of broken bonds, the creation of dress that encourages connection and relationship, is an area worthy of further study since it can add value and potentially resolve waste issues created by throwaway fashion.

BA (Hons) Fashion Photography

Creating and taking photographs in London & Brighton. My work features a mixture of both film and digital formats. I love the nostaglic, personal quality that various films bring to my portraits and the clean aesthetic that digital formats give my fashion work. I regularly shoot with a Bronica, Canon and I experiment with vintage camera's that I collect. I am currently studying at London College of Fashion. AW14 QUIET STORM

BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Menswear

Ocansey Bianchi is a Fashion Forward lifestyle brand, which focuses on challenging the concept of Tradition, Tailoring and Body Armour, resulting in a new unconventional approach to luxury Sportswear. The London Based Fashion Designer strongly believes that clothing should adapt on a journey with the wearer, encouraging and embracing different emotions and feelings, which one may embark on throughout the day. Thus resulting in the garment no longer being seen just as a garment, but instead becoming one with the wearer and embodying the form of a second skin. Other experience which Daniela has gained includes; Roksanda Ilincic, Giles Deacon, Rah Productions, Tata Naka, Armani Exchange, Pierre Garroudi, BBC and Blink Productions

Helmut Lang V Hunting

BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear

I try to always relate my projects to social or political events to gain a greater knowledge of current culture and media. My tone is sarcastic yet playful and aesthetic is relaxed and casual with a hint of fetishised sensuality. My aim is to create conceptual collections that raise awareness for social issues that lie within popular culture, while poking fun at the way we as a society choose to handle them.
