FdA Fashion Design Technology (Designer Pattern Cutter)
Emily is currently studying her final year on FdA Fashion Design technology; Designer Pattern Cutter. She has previously showcased her work at the Museum of London in November 2012 and is currently working on a collection to show this year. She has been interviewed about her work, designs and motivations on Art in Fusion TV. Emily is passionate about new designs and innovations and came 2nd for The Kangaroo Design A Shoe competition and loves to try to bring her garments to life with customized accessories. When completing work experience at Hachette Filipacchi Publications she was published in Sugar Magazine and also worked for Cosmopolitan and Red. One of Emily's biggest motivations to create new notions is working on animal friendly fashion. Her collection, Animal Friendly, uses innovative and sustainable fabrics but it also promotes the issue of animal welfare within the fashion industry in a fun, edgy and fashionable approach.
