The work includes subtle African print details on the finishings as well hand-painted techniques. Plastics, wool, silk....anything goes but comfort is a big aspect of the clothing. No matter how quirky it looks it is important that clothing fits beautifully and that the wearer is comfortable. These are unique one-off or limited collection pieces often with a twist to make an occasion of everyday. A woman who cannot be ugly is not beautiful.  ~Karl Krause All too often people are pressurised to look a certain way but David's collections explores shapes and silhouettes including squares that might be perceived as ugly in order to celebrate difference in human form.
