The Bergen Blazer - Converted

BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development

Moving away from the cult of fast fashion and into an era of longevity and use. Launching for Autumn/ Winter 12/13 Boxed seeks to supply for the consumer who is interested in a garments entire life, and now just the moment for which they have it. Seeking inspiration from the design ethos' and way of life in Scandinavia, Boxed will be sharing their ideas of creating a balance and 'give take' relationship with nature. This idea is something that has heavily influenced much of the modern architecture in the region, and similarly will be interpreted to create a balance between the wearer, the garment and the environments he encounters daily. Leaving fast fashion behind and moving towards a desire for longevity, Boxed sees no need in creating garments for the sake of trend or fad. Each piece has been designed with a requirement to last and fulfil it's purpose. The entire collection has been thought out to seamlessly cover every area of the wearer life, and take them through their daily motions. Modular in a sense, as each piece can be added to, taken away from or adjusted depending of the need and purpose.

BA (Hons) Fashion: Hair & Make Up

As an alumni pursuing an academic route I have been able to employ new and challenging methods, progression, values, purpose, manner in the development and course of practice. My creativity was stretched outside the box. I have been able to identify new relating subjects, which lead me onto the next steps in my future career. I don’t believe my learning ends with the BA, there are many areas I’ve yet to consider and develop. I look forward to encountering many new ideas in my future personal and professional development, and will be able to draw on and apply the knowledge and skills I’ve learned through out the Fda and BA when addressing them. My next steps, on completion of the course, are to assist top make artists and to gain an internship at an editorial magazine or a production company, while simultaneously running an online fashion magazine. This is just a snippet of my work. My aspirations as a make-up artist are never limited and my aim is to progress to success. http://terezabila.blogspot.com/ Nominee for London College of Fashion Joshua Galvin Award 2011 Work Credits: PHOTOGRAPHERS: Angelo Pennetta Benjamin Kaufman Michiel Meewis David Yeo Jonny Storey Alejandro Cavallo Felicity Ingram Campaigns: Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton (Assisting) Clients: All Saints ASOS Topshop Schuh Sleek Cosmetics Goldwell Aveda Mint Velvet Next Uniliver Clear Shampoo XXX The Extra Strong Mints Plenty Rocca De La Diversion Mojo Grazia (Assisting) Magazines: Vogue Paris (Assisting) Elle Sunday Times Style Magazine 125 Magazine Lula Volt Cafe Dazed Digital Creative Head Picmix Less Common More Sense La Boheme Magazine Eco Age for Livia Firth LFW / Fashion Shows: Zandra Rhodes Peter Jansen Martina Spetlova Manish Arora Harriet's Muse Bagley Mishka Graduate Fashion Week Afghanistan Aid Fashion Show TV and Film: E4 Camdenites Reality Show Music: Make-up and Costume Art Direction at Film Production.cz 'Zejtra Naporad' Roadmovie “Dutty Funk” Music Video Timmy Vegas featuring Barbara Tucker Chief make-up artist Seventh Sun Music Showcase A&R Management for Chanel 4 Irrepresibles Music Video Nude Celebrities and top models Anais Pouliot Olivia Inge George Lamb Emma Crosby Emma Forbes Katie Hill Naomi Istead Liberty X CONTACT : email: bilatereza@hotmail.com Mobile: 07739863953

FdA Fashion Design Technology (Designer Pattern Cutter)

I'm not someone that doesn't like to take risks with her work, I work with different materials to have a different outcome, I try to use different materials in every garments or every project. My inspiration comes from shapes, I prefer to do my research about what has already happened in fashion and I try to bring together the classic and modern to have a new outcome. My latest inspiration designer would have to be Ann Demeulemeester, simply because she makes garments that she would personally wear.

Collection

BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development

Collection The birth of a new identity has been born. The earth’s belongings have merged together with the modern being to become a post-human hybrid. Using earth’s raw matters and human characteristics, mutations have formed causing obscure shapes. The new surroundings are dim and desolate as the unidentified hybrids re-familiarise them selves with all the land has to offer. It is about story telling and communicating ideas through look and feel and perception. This modern tactile womenswear collection takes inspiration from raw earth materials and modern human identity. Angular shapes with précised edging and garments that are fixed with a slight flow give this mutant collection the ultimate balance. lakishawhite_740@live.co.uk
