The chaotic nature of capitalism and consumerism was the inspiration behind this naive yet bold collection. More images to come.

Layering, both literal and visual is the essence of my final collection. Inspired by the clothing worn by 19th century fishermen, broken polaroids photos, and deep sea creatures. I have researched fabrics and fabric techniques that have enabled me to create designs that challenge the idea of layering, and to create clothing that is colourful, layered and unique.

BA (Hons) Bespoke Tailoring

Studied Newham College: Bespoke Tailoring Pre-apprenticeship programme. Currently completing Ba Hons. LCF. Worked: F.A. Stone and Sons, bespoke and military tailors. Haywards bespoke tailors. Work concerns psychological and social functions that clothing plays: The effect clothing plays on routine and working practice. Functionally and emotionally. "Uniforms: Wipe out economic and social indicators of dress, ostensibly causing less hostility." Clothing being an outward impression of person; shaped and manipulated by environment and activities. Becoming 'bespoke' through the wearing-in, familiarity and love for a garment. The imperfections and rich tapestry created by wear. Within this collection a series of artist's workwear uniforms have been developed. Conceptually, the artist's identity and outward manifestation of self has been investigated. The outward projection of the artist and their inward rituals.

The Detachable Support- Close up

BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development

A socially aware Womenswear designer who finds the most inspiring ideas arise from current affairs and issues relating to climate change. Furthering this, her final year Revolutionary Outerwear range was an emotionally driven collection deriving from one's inability to speak up for one's beliefs and individual identity, which in turn forces one to hide away and blend in the crowd. The two-faced garments allow the wearer to choose which side they would like to sport depending on their mood or the situation their in. Colour plays an integral part in this collection. Looking into the idea that dark colours act as a disguise for ones identity and bright colours create life in an individual and through thorough research developing vibrant prints to acknowledge the idea that camouflage is the new way of seeing. Rebecca is very versatile, having completed a 14-month placement at Puma International in Development of Garments, Fabric and Trims; her Design skills have been heightened and she now has the ability to combine creativity with practicality to build workable products.

BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design & Development

The personal aspect of choosing a tattoo is an exciting process. I have incorporated the concept of using tattooing as a means of leather surface decoration into my range; allowing the customer, in liaison with the designer, to develop a customized pattern to be applied to the upper using laser engraving techniques. Taking inspiration from the linear quality of Mehndi design, along with the exotic, distinctive fluid shapes of the Royal Pavillion in Brighton, I have developed this idea to be applicable to footwear, with the hand dyed leather in conjunction with subtle stitch decoration combining to give a visual feast to enhance the customer experience. BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design & Development

I am a hardworking and motivated individual dedicated to creating footwear with a unique and sophisticated approach. I strongly believe in the importance of safekeeping traditional craftsmanship and incorporating it into a contemporary way of working and designing. The inspiration for my final major project came from London as a city. I am strongly influenced by my surroundings and the city as a space for inspiration has become a recurring theme within my work. The three main aspects I explored for this project are detail, movement and texture.

Fashion Editorial - Pretty Boys

BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development

For the final year of my degree, I wanted to sculpt my project around my strengths and my interests, which are styling and the field of publishing. I decided to develop and create an online magazine. I was inspired by new technologies and the future of fashion magazines online. PRINTED magazine is the outcome of this project. PRINTED takes inspiration from the original printed magazine and combines it with the benefits of online media to create the ultimate compromise. Consisting of fashion editorials, photography, creative writing and film, PRINTED is the recreational destination online for fashion and lifestyle content.
